Bequests

Create an unforgettable memento for your loved one through a bequest to the NBFA. Making a provision in your will is a fitting way to perpetuate your commitment to the arts while honouring someone you wish to memorialize. Your bequest can be for a specific purpose or for establishing a named fund.

Bequests can be in the form of cash, securities, or other property. It may suit your estate planning needs best to leave either a percentage or the remainder of your estate to NBFA after you have made other specific bequests. If using a percentage, please specify through your lawyer whether the bequest is a percentage of the gross estate, or the net estate.

Bequests may also be structured as a trust that would benefit NBFA while perpetuating the memory of your loved one.

Donations should be made to the “New Brunswick Foundation for the Arts” (rather than as "NBFA").
