Saint John Theatre Company receives NBFA's TD Canada Trust Award for the Arts Organization of the Year

In September 2007, the Foundation awarded the TD Canada Trust Award for Arts Organization of the Year to New Brunswick's largest community theatre, the Saint John Theatre Company. This company has worked enthusiastically to involve the community in theatre activities and in creating a milieu in which local playwrights, designers, and performers can now develop their talents and skills and make their own debut in theatre. Their accomplishments, as well as the invaluable incentive and support provided by TD Canada Trust, give the Foundation good reason to feel confident about the future of the arts in the province.
