Support the Charlotte Glencross and Nel Oudemans Arts Scholarships

The New Brunswick Foundation for the Arts (NBFA) has launched a campaign to support two arts scholarships, the Charlotte Glencross Scholarship for Professional Development in the Arts and the Nel Oudemans Memorial Scholarship. Contributions to the scholarship funds will be used to further the development of arts and artists in New Brunswick.

The Nel Oudemans Scholarship offers support to artists enrolled in advanced studies in fine crafts, while the Charlotte Glencross Scholarship provides funding to an artist or craftsperson who seeks to build upon a new practice or establish a new direction in her or his work. Seven students have benefitted from Nel Oudemans Memorial Scholarships since 2002, most recently Aidan Stanley. The first Charlotte Glencross Scholarship winner will be named in November 2009. These two scholarships, with a value of $1000.00 each, are provided by the NBFA.

Your donation in support of these arts scholarships can be made online or by cheque to the order of the New Brunswick Foundation for the Arts, sent to the NBFA at 334 Queen Street, Suite 1, Fredericton NB E3B 1B2. Please note which scholarship fund you would like to support. You will receive an income-tax receipt in the amount of your donation.
