NBFA-FANB logoNew Identity

Celebrate with us as we launch a bold new look for NBFA. Our new logo provides an easily‐recognizable mark that clearly identifies the Foundation, reflects the bilingual nature of New Brunswick, and blends decorative and corporate styles to convey the group’s knowledge, experience and drive to support the arts in New Brunswick.

The new identity will be propagated to all our communications materials. For example, we're proud to simultaneously launch this new web site as part of that identity roll-out. Next will be the development of electronic stationery and Annual Report templates as part of our ongoing efforts to use less paper and respect the environment.

History

The New Brunswick Foundation for the Arts (NBFA), established in 1992 under the New Brunswick Corporations Act as a not-for-profit corporation, encourages and facilitates private giving to the arts in New Brunswick. It is a non-governmental foundation and a registered charity (Charitable registration number 893286765 RR0001).

The NBFA is governed by a volunteer board of directors harbouring excellence in board governance and experience in business matters. All the fundraising efforts go directly to:

  • Establish and manage endowment funds for the arts
  • Facilitate skills development and sustainability in arts and cultural organizations
  • Expand the existing programs, and
  • Cover the operating costs necessary to fulfill the NBFA mission.

The NBFA is distinct and separate from the New Brunswick Arts Board and the Arts Branch of the Wellness, Culture and Sport Department.
